Missouri facility enables increased capacity and faster lead times while offering
service to a larger U.S. footprint.
LAMAR, MO – October 11, 2023 – Fairway Architectural Railing Solutions, designer and manufacturer of custom exterior railings for multifamily and hospitality projects, is nearing completion on a new 78,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Lamar, Missouri.
“Envision Building Products, Fairway’s parent company, has been in Lamar for more than 20 years, and we are excited to be adding this Fairway facility to the community,” said Bob McNally, Envision Building Products CEO. “Not only does this allow us to better service projects across the Midwest, but we are also implementing advanced manufacturing technologies within the facility; providing job opportunities for several skilled operators and tradespeople.”
The Lamar facility will manufacture Fairway’s full range of custom architectural solutions, including its aluminum welded railing systems, prefabricated aluminum balconies, fencing, pergolas, and more.
“This new facility allows us to dramatically increase capacity and offer our clients faster turnaround times,” added Lou Filippone, VP of Sales for Fairway. “We also now have the opportunity to reach new, rapidly growing markets with full turnkey services that we were previously unable to access easily out of our New Jersey facility.”
Out of its new Missouri facility, Fairway will have the capability to offer turnkey services, which includes the production, transport, and installation of finished materials, throughout booming Midwest markets, reaching south into Texas and the fast-growing Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin metros, and west to Denver.
Advanced production capabilities in the new facility will allow Fairway to control the entire manufacturing process, including manual and automated welding and fabrication, six-stage wash and prep, and automated and manual powder coating to AAMA-2604 and AAMA-2605 finish standards.
“Creating the highest quality products that help create a safe environment on the finished project is the most important goal to our company, and this new facility lets us do that much more efficiently,” McNally said.
Production is scheduled to begin at the new facility in early 2024.
